July Class Schedule

Cake Decorating I
A class that teaches you the basics of cake decorating. In this four week course, students will learn professional baking hints, how to evenly bake and level cakes, methods to smoothly frost a cake, borders, roses, drop flowers, leaves, how to color icing, use of a template, figure piping and much, much, more! Frosting, colors, recipes and a basic decorating kit will be provided by the instructor. A cake baked at home will be decorated by each student at the fourth class. 4 weeks. $45

Cake Decorating II 
In this four week course, students will learn wild roses & more flowers, basket weaving, pattern making, reversed shell border, holiday designs & more advanced figure piping. You will be shown how to torte a cake with fruit filling. Most frosting and colors supplied by the instructor. & cake baked at home will be decorated by each student at the fourth class. 4 weeks. $45

Cake Decorating III 
In this four week course student will learn royal icing flowers and fondant roses, garland and stringwork, pattern making, airbrushing techniques, & two toned cakes. Emphasis will be on round, two tier cakes. Supply list will be available two weeks prior to start of class. 4 Weeks $50

Flowers I
In this course students will be shown the basics of icing flowers. Emphasis will be given to roses, drop flowers and placement of flower sprays on cakes. Tools required are: tips #2, #3, #8 , #104, #2D, #109, #124, #352, Flower nail #7, small scissors, cookie sheet ( can be from home), 3 couplers. Bags, colors, and icing will be supplied by the instructor. All supplies are available at Cake Creations. 2 Hours. $15

Flowers II
Now that you've finished Flowers I and have done some serious practicing you are ready to test your skill. In this class you will learn how to make daisies, gerber daisies, wild roses, mums, carnations, pansies & more. Tools required are: Tips # 2, #3, #8, #102, #103 #104, #124, #352, Flower nail #7, #70 . All supplies are available at Cake Creations. 2 1/2 hours. $20

Flowers III
In this class students will learn to make flowers using the Wilton Lily Nail set. You will be taught how to make & store royal icing. Easter lily, Petunia, and Tropical flowers are just some of what will be taught. As time allows airbrushing technique for coloring flowers may also be shown. Tools required are: tips #124, #104, #103, #352 Wilton Lily Nail Set, 2 Couplers, cookie sheet, heavy duty foil Icing, bags, & colors will be supplied by instructor. 2 1/2 hours. $20.00

Cookies, Cookies
This class will teach you how to make perfect cookie dough, bake the perfect cookie, and decorate a rolled cutout cookie just like the professionals do. All supplies and ingredients will be provided by the instructor. 2 1/2 hours. $20.00


Write Right
Students will learn and practice simple, clear writing with icing. Accurate spacing and level placement will be emphasized. Individual letters, words and practice guide handouts, as well as tips, bags and icing are included. 2 hours $15

Roses
This class provides new materials for beginners, as well as a refresher for experienced decorators. Students need to bring tips #8, #12, #104, #1 24. a #7 rose nail, bags, and a cookie sheet. All icing will be supplied bv the instructor. 2 hours $20

Cake Decorating for Beginners - A One Day Special
This workshop is a "no prerequisite, no follow-up" workshop design for students who wish to learn the simplest basics of cake decorating in the shortest amount of time. Each student will work with buttercreme icing to create drop flowers, leaves, borders, and more.. Students will learn how to put a pattern on a cake Each student will decorate a small cake to take home. Techniques on baking and frosting cakes will be covered. This is also a good brush-up class for decorators with previous experience. Recipes, tips, bags, colors, icings, patterns and small cakes will be supplied by the instructor and are included in the lesson price. 3 hours $40.00

Basic Borders
Now that you've finished Cake Decorating I and decorated a few cakes, it's time to try some new borders. In this class, we'll do a quick refresher on the borders you learned in Cake I to fine tune your skills and add some new borders and side work so all you cakes don't end up looking alike. These will include c-motion, e-motion, rope, reverse shell, zig-zag, and more. This class requires a basic knowledge of cake decorating. 2 hours $15

Advanced Borders
Tired of simple borders? Dress up your cakes with ruffles, swags, string work and more. Reverse shell and color on color borders can transform your cakes. This class requires a basic knowledge of cake decorating. 2 hour $15

Rolled Fondant Made Easy!
In this class the instructor will use store bought fondant to show the basic techniques of rolling, covering and decoratins a cake with fondant. Simple methods of creating bows, drapes, quilting, embossing and quick flowers including fondant ribbon roses will be shown. Short cuts and easy techniques will amaze you. Supplies List: rolling pin, cookie sheet, 1 pound of store bought white fondant. 3 hours $40

Simple Sweets
In this candy making class each student will take home over two pounds of candy including choc, covered pretzel sticks, turtles, pecan clusters, oreo cookie pops, toasted coconut covered marshmallows, holiday barks, and cream cheese mints. All class materials and supplies supplied by the instructor. 2 hours $25

Picture Perfect
Students will be amazed at how simple it is to put their childs favorite character on a cake! In this class students will learn various techniques of transfer and design. All materials supplied by the instructor. 2 hours $20

Full payment is required to complete registration. Full refund is given only if you cancel at least 10 days before the class. After this deadline, no refunds or credit will be issued.
